A young girl named Martha lives with her evil stepmother and two ugly stepsisters. Though the similarities to Cinderella are undeniable, part of what's so enchanting and satisfying about Jack Frost are the ways in which it borrows from the classic story while reimagining it, infusing it with a spirituality and a central character who takes charge of her own destiny.
