Description:
Voices of Israel and Palestine. In 1997, the playwright David Hare was invited to go to Israel – 'because in Israel they're fighting for something they believe in'. Various trips to Israel and Palestine ensued, during which David was given access to a range of public and private figures, each with a fresh perspective on the region and its troubles. Moved by his experiences, David wrote the groundbreaking play Via Dolorosa. Gary Hay presents a must-see performance of David Hare’s compelling drama, which lays bare the history, complexities and tensions of the region.
