Ever had the hiccups and wondered why? The folk of Grendel have always understood – respect Tom Hiccup and he’ll leave you alone. Anger him and who knows what may happen. The old spirits are like that. But sometimes, the indifference of Nature becomes a force for justice. When a man commits the ultimate act of cowardice, a woman’s spirit gains terrifying embodiment. This dark, twisted folk horror tale explores desire, murder and capricious Nature. This one-woman storytelling show is brought to you by the company behind The Red Room, reviewed ***** and **** at Fringe 2024.
