The Tall Pines are a shack-shakin’ duo, Connie Lynn Petruk and Christmas Davis, welding together their love of garage-rock, classic country and vintage soul, to create their own original style. They’ve performed at Stagecoach, and with Steve Earle, Norah Jones, Nikki Lane, Kid Congo Powers, Justin Townes Earle, and more. They produce The Tall Pines Revue live series at The NY Public Theater. With Connie singing and playing drums on her (faux) alligator suitcase, while Christmas wrings greasy riffs from his guitar, The Tall Pines conjure road-trip music for everyday life, juke-joint pit stops, and out-of-body experiences.
