Description:
Consuelo runs Masa Madre, a family bakery she inherited from her grandmother. In former times, the bakery was the epicentre of social life. Today, it faces a serious threat. Increased tourism, spurred by Jarona's recent designation as 'one of the most beautiful towns in Spain' has led to the proliferation of large chain stores, endangering Consuelo's legacy, and her way of life. The next few days could change the fate of the bakery forever… This non-verbal play for all the family, performed with masks, is the second show at the Fringe from Madrid-based Neko Theatre.
