Description:
1973. A Saturday morning. Jack, 75, waits in a corridor for weekend release to his remaining family. On Sunday, he will be returned. While waiting, he travels his inner landscape, vividly reliving events that took him, underaged, from the safety of his overcrowded family home in Leicester to the swamps of Ypres. Catastrophe tips into 50 years of life lived in psychiatric hospitals as a Ward of the State. His reveries bring him full circle to the moment he stands before us. Stephen Wale trained at Drama Centre London, graduating in 1973.
