Description:
Celebrate World Elephant Day with the Scottish premiere of a stunning documentary about the legendary elephant scientist, Iain Douglas-Hamilton. Iain was the first Western scientist to study their incredible lives when he worked alongside them in Tanzania's Lake Manyara National Park in the 1960s. When an ivory poaching crisis engulfed Africa in the 1970s, Iain turned vigilante and battled for their survival on the front line. Full of wonderful images, incredible elephant characters and gripping stories, it's a film full of passion, beauty and emotion.
